THE METAMORPHOSIS PROJECT JOURNAL

The Metamorphosis Project Journal (TMPJ) is an annual, peer-reviewed and Open Access transdisciplinary journal produced and published by The Metamorphosis Project in Western Australia.
Each issue of TMPJ is curated around a thought-provoking theme that invites submissions from a diverse range of practitioners and researchers working between and beyond disciplines and artistic forms. Submissions can be text based or visual (accompanied by an exegesis) and we warmly welcome proposals from international contributors.

Review the submission requirements and follow the guidelines to submit your abstract before the deadline.
Shortlist announced
10 May 2026
The editorial panel will convene and deliberate on the shortlisted submissions.
Final submissions due early June 2026
Shortlisted authors should have their final and complete entry ready for submission by 12 June 2026.
Issue 02 published in October 2026
The Metamorphosis Project Journal Issue 03 will be published and launched.
