How to present Images

How to present Images in your work - Image resolution, How to write image descriptions

If you are using images in your article:

 

1.      Include low-res versions as ‘placeholders’ in the body of the Word document where you want them to be featured, and write a description underneath the image (see examples below).

2.      Please also send a HIGH-RES JPG/PNG of each image separately, labelled accordingly. Please use a file transfer method that we will have access to for an extended period (as noted above).

3.      Obtain full permission to reproduce any images, artworks, or other materials included in your submission.

 

How to write Image descriptions:  

Figure number + Artist name + Title/description of image + Year + Description of the medium + Copyright info (if relevant)
